The William Morris Gallery is housed in a beautiful example of fine Georgian architecture built in the 1740's complete with a Corinthian style porch, fluted columns and elaborate carvings.
William Morris, designer, craftsman, writer and socialist lived here during his teens and wrote some of his earliest poetry here. Exhibits include a wide range of objects including tapestries, furniture, tiles, embroidery and paintings. Click here for info.
